About Smalltime Comics
Noir crime is the blues music of literature. It’s gritty and primal, and it has its own unique beat. Smalltime Comics honors the great tradition of this genre by taking it in new directions while being true to its rich history. Â
The characters in this story aren't privileged. They dress badly, speak poorly, and they make terrible decisions. None of them have any money. They are frequently violent. We tell their stories frankly and unflinchingly, and always in a fun and entertaining way.Â

About the Author
Mitchell Reichgut started as an art director at Grey advertising in New York City in the early nineties, then the Internet happened and he spent the next several years building websites for a bunch of big brands.Â
When Madison Avenue finally got sick of him, Mitchell started a company called Jun Group out of his house. He built it up over many years until it was acquired in 2018 by a large media company.
While all this was happening, Mitchell wrote two national comic book series, Sparrow, and Manik, both published by Millennium Comics. He also wrote and produced a comic strip called Silicon Alley, an online series called Stream, starring Whoopi Goldberg, and an online series called The Scene.
